The Yard is a renovated warehouse, found down a small alleyway a short distance from Fisherton Street. Started in 2009, The Yard is a Cafe & Shop which serves specialty coffee alongside homemade cakes (made daily on site), Welsh Rarebit and Cheese pastries. In the shop you will find ever-changing gifts and homewares. We seek out unusual pieces at all price ranges.
Upstairs you will find a light and airy gallery space with plenty of seating, and an-ever growing plant collection. Throughout the shop there is seating and a log fire in the winter months, while our courtyard is an oasis of calm in the summer.
We have a resident dog, Sadie, and cat, Twinkle. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at The Yard downstairs and in the courtyard, but upstairs is Cats only ;) We ask that customers keep their dog on a lead whilst at the Yard in case Twinkle is around.
